Feedback gevenI visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a local friend. I found it difficult to determine which menu items were vegan, and the staff was not able to provide much help, as I do not speak Taiwanese. However, after some confusion, I was informed in Chinese that the dumplings, cooked vegetables, and dry noodles were safe options. Unfortunately, the soups were not vegan due to the use of mushroom strains to flavor the broth. I ended up ordering twice because my first order was not enough. In total, I enjoyed 16 dumplings, a small order of Sesam Paste noodles, and half a plate of boiled water spinach. The food was satisfying, especially the dumplings. I was surprised that the staff did not keep track of orders per table, but instead relied on customers to recall their orders when settling the bill. Despite the slight confusion, the restaurant seemed busy even on a non-peak day. Overall, it was an authentic dining experience.
I ended up ordering twice because my first order wasn't enough. In total, I had 16 dumplings, a small serving of sesame paste noodles, and half a plate of boiled water spinach. It was a satisfying meal, and I particularly enjoyed the dumplings. I was surprised that the staff didn't keep track of our orders very well, but it seemed like they trusted customers to remember what they had ordered when it came time to pay the bill. Even though I visited on a regular day (not the 1st or 15th of the lunar month), the restaurant was still quite busy. Overall, it was a great experience for an authentic taste of Taiwanese cuisine.
