Japanese food prepared on the higher level. The setting is typically minimalistic with a lot of wood in this Vinohrady basement restaurant. The waiters are extremely helpful in guiding you through the menu highlighting the daily specials. There are tasting menus as well as a la carte options available. The Shitake salad (not pictured) was delicious as well as the sushi and sashimi selection served with various dedicated garnishes. The Black Angus beef was slightly disappointing. To me thus far one of the best Japanese dining options in Prague.

Very pleasant environment. Attentive staff. Quality ingredients. I was just a little disappointed with the tasting menu the first time. I came back a second time just for sushi and it was excellent.

Minimalistic design, great and especially very well-informed service. Excellent sushi, the best I have ever had. Definitely try the unique Kobe beef, it is a real experience! Marek Hora knows what he's doing.

The relatively new restaurant by Zdenek Pohlreich and Marek Hora from Yamato is definitely worth a visit. Sushi chef Hora is truly excellent and you can even try his specialty, nigiri with tuna in black beer, which won at an international sushi competition in Japan. You can also enjoy the warm kitchen (I recommend the pork belly) and the prices here correspond to high quality (you can get a lunch menu for around two hundred). The menu offers everything traditional Japanese cuisine has to offer, including tempura, teriyaki, miso soup, edamame... If you love Japanese cuisine, there's no question – give Yamato a try!

Jedna z restaurací proslulého pana Pohlreicha. Restaurace je trochu založena na tom, že nemá moc stolů a nikdo vám nečumí do talíře a neposlouchá vaše rozhovory a to má u mě velké plus! Přijdete do restaurace a hned na vás dýchne skvělá atmosféra prostrědí, číšníci přijdou a sundají vám kabát a uschovají ho do skříně, všichni jsou tam milý a usměvavý. Jídlo taktéž výborné, jelikož tam mají jednoho z odborníků na sushi. A taková maličkost, jelikož jsem holka, tak ocením maličkosti a to, že na záchodech mají mokré, malé a voňavé ručníčky do kterých si můžete otřít ruce. Do této restaurace se vždy budu ráda vracet a určitě to nebyla moje poslední návštěva.
