Polaks Sawsage Farm - Karnes City

Excellent homemade food! Definitely worth the stop. We're visiting the area and the locals recommended it. I'm glad we asked.

I never sausage a place! I said. The waitress gave me a long suffering look. Pros: Steak and baked potatoes prepared excellently. Staff friendly. Cons: Need more side selection. Was a bit confused and still am as to wether I was supposed to seat myself or not. Sign needed.

The Texas toast is insane and the slice beef sandwich was flavorful and soooooo yummy. The hot German potato salad was just like Oma used to make. Will go again!

Wife and I went on a little Motorcycle trip to Polaks Sawsage Farm between Karnes City and Kennedy. Visited with a friend in the area. Two shredded beef sandwiches w chips, one club sandwich w coleslaw. Good food, great friendly service. A nice light lunch for the ride back home to the coastal bend.
