Feedback gevenThe restaurant is located in the popular Front West district on a corner property. Larger parking spaces are not nearby, but you must be lucky to find one along the road. And we had three, we could park almost in front of the restaurant. Before entering the restaurant, you can take a look at the terrace (for about 50 – 60 guests), which is of course not managed. Here you can sit wonderfully in beautiful weather, separated by hedges, shrubs and high plants from the road, protected by large, white, square parasols if required. A little oasis in the middle of town! Now in winter there are two tables covered with fabric table cloths, high wind lights and ashtrays, chairs with high-rest seat cushions, under a large umbrella against the rain and with heating mushrooms against the cold. Such comfortable smoking places are not so often found. Ambience The three intertwining rooms and the adjoining niches with a total of about 70 seats make a very welcoming, very well maintained impression. The predominant color is white, comfortable high-rest chairs, white padded, white/cream-colored walls with economical picture decorations (Spanish motifs). The tables are sufficiently far apart, striking but simple decorations and tasteful wind lights on all window benches and tables, small wall lights that shine up and down, everything fits! The tables are very nicely covered with high quality cutlery, stylish glasses, Peugeot salt and pepper mill set, rectangular curved plates, whose surface reminds of milk glass, strengthened fabric napkins, two table lights, a vase with red roasts and a white rose, all harmonious, stylish, elegant, yet cozy, an atmosphere for feeling well! Service Here we immediately felt, here we are right and welcome as guests. After the very friendly reception we had the choice between 3 tables. The service is discreet in the background, not annoying and yet present when needed. It will be happy to laugh without losing the appropriate distance, and always we had the feeling that you take care of every guest, with constant kindness, charm and professionally served! After enough time for the selection, which was not so easy, the orders were quickly and attentively received, you have a desire to come immediately. According to the homepage “Spanish-international cuisine”, the restaurant offers a wide range of appetizers and a large number of hot and cold tapas. To complement the map there are selected day offers. The costs are in the upper price segment, but they are fully justified in the price/performance ratio. Eleven different fish dishes to five different fish species are offered, fifteen meat dishes, various soups, salads and desserts. Here everyone finds something. We wanted to take some tapas first and foremost. And they are offered here in large numbers, so the selection fell hard. To all tapas, fresh warm bread was unrequired, fresh, thick, airy slices with beautiful crust, at the same time wonderfully juicy and firm enough, crumb and crust very tasty. Alioli con pan for 4,90 € homemade garlic canonnaise with fresh bread, with a light quark cream with cucumber and garlic, reminiscent of tsatsiki, and a tomato pest, a piquant but not sharp tomato sauce The Ailoli is really nice creamy and with a clear garlic aroma, but not exaggerated and for us perfectly, tastefully over any doubt. Quark cream and tomatoes can also convince. Jamon Serrano for 9,90 € The Spanish Serranoschinken with its lean, little fat-massored meat, obtained from the hindsink of the light-skinned domestic pig, is of delicate, slightly salty taste with mild-aromatic touch, perfectly cut, a high-gloss! Pimientos de padron for 6,90 € The small green paprikaschotes fried in olive oil, slightly browned and sprinkled with coarse sea salt met our taste, the pods pleasantly mild, with wonderful own taste and not sharp, just as we like them. For this, too, a small bowl with Ailoli was added. Carpaccio de buey for 11,90 €, Carpaccio of the Argentinian beef fillet with rocket and parmesan thin slices, maybe a bit too thin, to the rocket and parmesan a few raw mushroom slices and two lemon notes, with little ground black pepper. I couldn't taste what the oil tasted, what type it was, with which it might have been seasoned. For me, the fine beef cibs tasted at least very uninhabited, or even strange, without being able to define exactly what it was. Also my two companions could not really be friends with this court. From the neighboring table we only heard positive comments on this appetizer. Boquerones en vinagre for 8,50 € The sour ardella fillets with garlic belong to my absolute favorite tapas. The tapas classic, marinated in Weinessig and in olive oil, with garlic and parsley, came to the table quite differently than expected. I learned in Spain how to make it and also made it at home. In plenty of very good fruity olive oil, enriched with tomato slices, the vinegar was no longer clearly expressed. This own recipe of the cook did not find quite our favors, about the very good quality of all ingredients you can of course say nothing negative. Steak Tatar for 14,50 € The homemade tartar from Argentine Black Angus Rind with bread could completely convince. All necessary ingredients were beautifully draped around the first-class meat that was just divided. Everyone could use the salt and pepper mills to taste and use the ingredients as desired. How “feared” we did not make it to any main course. The tapas portions were abundant from the crowd and together with the excellent bread and the delicious Alioli, which was abundant, was simply impossible to create. But my favorite dessert had to be for me. Crema Catalana 8,90 € Homemade vanilla cream with a caramel crust with fruits It was served classic in a simple tone bowl. The sugar crust is very crunchy, I had to puncture with the fork, but I like that exactly! The Crema itself as expected easy vanillig, easy, creamy, a pleasure! The many different fruits and a little cream completed the conclusion! Even the espresso was perfect. High quality of processed products, attentive competent service, an ambience for feeling well, what more do you want? Come again and enjoy more tapas and more! Reservation is strongly advised.
