We found this small grocery store just a few minutes walk from the hotel and the outdoor area of Thamel. So we go and order fried and Momo, and I test the best food in our Nepal Tour. The shop is popular, not only delicious food also serves the behavior of the owners. They welcome everyone with a smile and with a warm behavior and that made everyone come back to their shop.
Favourite place to eat in Kathmandu! Food and milk tea is delicious, best momos I had in Nepal! And the prices are amazing. The family who own this place is super beautiful and friendly. Pay them a visit
Good food at great price served with friendly service.
Small, but friendly staff, delicious food, and very cheap price.
Great place run by a charming couple with excellent food and budget prices. Probably one of the cheapest eateries in Thamel. The local is very small and cosy. There are only 4 tables so be prepared to wait or share a table as the place is very popular both with the locals as well as the tourists. Even if you just fancy a drink and a snack you can pop in for a Tongba (millet based local brew). This is also very competitively priced at 150 rupees a pop. The restaurant was only opened in this location 3 months ago but it is already well known and popular which is not surprising given how tasty and cheap the food is. If you are still not convinced pop in for quick MoMo and see if you like it or not. It will only cost you 70 rupees for veggie or buff or 100 for chicken. The owners speak perfect English and there is also English menu available. Highly recommended.
