Utpala Café - Kathmandu

Travelling with Veg Voyages and our group was hosted by the Utpala Cafe. We had a lunch meal and it was outside seating. We were served a number of different vegan dishes and everything tasted wonderful and the staff were very welcoming. Updated from previous review on 2020-02-23

Went there every single day when staying near the Stupa. Vegan food and drinks are very delicious. We literally tried all of them and loved every one of them. Could hardly find another restaurant in town that's as welcoming and cozy as this.

Lot of vegan options including pizza and banana chocolate vegan cake.

Super clean, nice atmosphere away from the busyness of the area, good service and they have a new separate vegan menu alongside their normal vegetarian fare. If you’re hungry around the Boudha Stupa this place is a must!

It is a must, and the service is very nice. I really admire how they serve themselves so that nobody takes too much and it was wasting the eating was quite delicious, and vegetarian should try.
