The prices at this restaurant are often inflated. Charging $2 for a potato scallop and $7.50 for what they call medium chips is excessive. The chicken appears dry and overcooked, as if it has been sitting out all day. They also sell small, dried out chicken wings. Additionally, there is a hidden sign stating that a 50c fee is added for EFTPOS transactions without informing customers. The lack of care for customers is evident in the pricing, food quality, and overall attitude. Formerly a popular spot, it has dwindled in popularity for good reason. For a better meal, locals recommend visiting the fish and chip shop down the street known as Green Fish or trying Poulet instead. You'll be disappointed if you choose to dine here.

I have witnessed the manager yelling at his staff and physically assaulting one of his female employees. This behavior was so shocking that I never want to eat at this restaurant again.

This mountain restaurant serves the best roasted chicken. I have been a loyal customer for 25 years and have never had a bad meal. The negative reviews may be from snooty city dwellers who don't appreciate the charm of a family-run establishment.
