Shuttle Stop - Katoomba

I had checked into the hotel a few steps further on the street and asked where I could take a lunch. They suggested coming here. I have to admit that it was more like a big kiosk with tables and chairs and a kitchen. I ordered Hoki fish and chips and an ice cream coffee on the counter. The food came into a collection container, but I sat inside and ate it on the grounds. All right, if it's more rudimentary.

This is a fantastic breakfast spot. We stumbled upon it while walking down the street and decided to give it a try. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends.

I stopped by this restaurant after meeting some old friends at Echopoint. We walked down to the shuttle stop for a quick bite at this small shop and café. The lunch was easy, the drinks were good, and the prices were reasonable. The service was quick, and the fish and chips were delicious - hot and crispy (although I wished they had mushy peas). The gravy was alright, the salad was fresh, and the other food options looked appetizing. Overall, it was a nice place to have a meal and catch up with friends.

This place makes real hamburgers and great chips. Service is fast. There are a few tables, but we've always taken away.

Some of the best take-away food in Katoomba. Chose classic Aussie hamburgers with the works and chicken salted chips. Was able to get the paper to accompany them. The hamburgers were magnificent as were the chips were old fashion (being thicker and healthier than those...thin fries). Service is EXCELLENT with and the proprietors take a great deal of pride in everything they do. This is reminiscent of the old fashion Australian corner stall from decades ago.
