Old Chicago - Katy

Name a combination of food and drink that naturally merges, and pizza and beer are probably the first things to think. The right beer paired with the right pizza increases the experience on new levels, but unfortunately most restaurants do not need the great selection of pizza and beer to find this perfect game. A restaurant that meets both needs is Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom, a newer restaurant in the Houston area. Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom is a beautiful place to visit pizza cake and brew. Pizza is the specialty, but this is by no means the only food they serve. There are appetizers, sandwiches, salads, calzones, etc. You also have a full bar, but the beer cocks take the stage in this restaurant with a large selection that includes both bottles and designs options. With the food, many who eat here will go directly to the pizza. I wasn't in a pizza mood when I first visited, so I went with the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and one side of Fritten. The addition of sausage and other toppings for an interesting contrast in taste and the sandwich was quite large. Together with my appetizers and my beer, I had quite full, but also satisfied. Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom is a family-friendly place to eat and my children seemed to like the experience. They ordered macaroni and cheese from the children's menu and gave it a quick thumb-up. The other ordered a pizza and while I did not try it, I found it interesting in appearance and my child liked it overall. The woman decided to **** on portions of everyone's food and she liked what she discovered. As far as beer is concerned, I found the selection excellent and I was very happy to discover several beers I had not tried before. They turn the valves periodically, so there is always something new to try. You will even use a sample if you are not sure about a particular brand or style. The beer alone, is reason enough to pay a visit to Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom and it's reason enough to get me back. This Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom location has a smaller interior than I expected, but they have a beautiful outdoor terrace, perfect when the weather is beautiful. The atmosphere is geared to sports viewing and there are many TVs to almost ensure that the game of your choice is transferred to one of them. Add everything and you have a restaurant that is suitable for the family and one that is obliged to make its way to the monthly restaurant rotation of my family.

The service at this restaurant is outstanding. I ordered two margaritas and a Chicago-style pizza, and I loved everything. Vicky, the bartender, has an excellent memory and is fantastic at her job. The management is impressive as well. I would definitely bring someone here when I'm in Texas!

The service was pleasant, and the prices for the kids' menu were reasonable, with generous portion sizes for children's meals. The buffalo chicken appetizer was tasty, and the individual pizza was a decent size—perfect for sharing if you're also ordering an appetizer. The chicken wings were just average, but the food arrived quickly and hot. Overall, the pricing is slightly above average for pizza.

The restaurant has a very clean and relaxing atmosphere. The food is always excellent every time I visit. It's also family-friendly. The staff is wonderful and full of positive energy. I will definitely be bringing my friends here!
