Opening an hour earlier really does make a difference especially when I need to leave town early in the morning. I grab a quick bite from here and can be on the road by or even before lunch traffic hits. Every time I come here I order the broth hu tieu and depending on my mood, I eat whatever type of noodles. Normally I order the combo of clear rice and egg noodles. Some days I rather the thin egg noodles over the thick or vice versa. I like them all. The broth is always fresh and tastes flavorful. They are also generous with their protein, but their veggies have not been great. The bean sprouts were not fresh and had a slimy layer on them. However I love their pickled peppers they keep at the table with the other condiments. It’s so spicy and adds just the right amount of kick in the broth. I like to eat them after a few bites because it really does make a difference. Overall, this is a good spot for hu tieu! Fast, reasonably priced, and good service!
Delicious food. Great Service. The owner let us try multiple things on the menu and everything was great. Will definitely add this place to the rotation.Food: 5/5
Damn good soup, very nutritious. Not too expensiveFood: 5/5
First time eating here and it will be placed on my regular rotation. Specializes in noodles dry or soup. Noodle options are rice or egg noodles, thick or thin. This eatery is similar to another place located in Bellaire, just as good. The best thing very affordable. I ordered the thin egg noodles large bowl and my wife ordered thin rice (pho) noodles dry.
H2 with no dried shrimp, no shrimp, no liver, and extra side of magic brown sauce. that's my go to order.I love the chewy texture of the clear noodles. I like dipping the meat with their magically delicious brown sauce.Service is always excellent. Not many vietnamese places will go back to check on you after you get your food. They're attentive and kind.
