Tom Chee - Katy

If there is a food combination that I never get tired of, it is grilled cheese and tomato soup. It is not to fill, the flavors complement each other very well, and it reminds me of the food I enjoyed as a child. Tom Chee helps to bring back these memories with great tasting food in a fast service atmosphere. This growing restaurant chain has its roots in Cincinnati, Ohio and you learn this quickly when you eat here. The chain was founded by individuals in the Middle West who knew how much grilled cheese and tomato soup were loved by so many and so they decided to take things to the next level. And the result is Tom Chee, a fast serving type of restaurant where you order on arrival, choose your seat, and then wait a few minutes to operate. Tom Chee serves several variations on the classic grilled cheese. You can choose from sandwiches that contain nothing but the basics to those that bacon, turkey, etc. The Mac and Chee made with macaroni and cheese, bacon and onions is my personal favorite, but there are many others who are very tasty as well. And if you want to build yourself, you can also do this by loving the type of bread you love best with a certain type of cheese. You can then round out the meal with a bowl of tomato soup. That's Tom. Chee location in Katy is right next to the Interstate 10 and the interior is larger than expected, with space for about one-hundred people. Soft drinks are self-service and the service is friendly and professional. A visit here is a great way to enjoy the delicious grill and cheese you enjoyed during your youth and the prices are more than reasonable. It has a great customer service Cooler place to make a afternoon-own lunch type deal. Presentation of the delivery is pleasant. Texas BBQ Brisket with creamy tomato soup. Absolutely delicious.

Grilled cheese. If these two words bring a little smile to your face, that's probably the place for you. Grilled cheese with fabric in it, that is basically what this place is. And they do a pretty good job. I had the Texas BBQ Brisket Combo because Texas you know with the tomatoes basil soup. They also had salads, but maybe another day. Totally delicious. I might want to try the donut on my next outing here.

My husband and I first had Tom in Colorado and fell in love. It is gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches what is not to love?! Her soup is amazing as well as her sides. I have the Mac and Chee cheese with a potato salad side and he got the Brisket Chee with Mac and cheese side both were excellent!

Fun and fast place for dinner! My girlfriend and I both got a sandwich and soup and they were delicious! The creamy tomato basil is fantastic and I highly recommend it. I had to try the King grilled cheese donut cuz I love peanut butter. It was yummy but not enough PB for me. All in all, I'll DEFINITELY be back
