The false fillet was as good as any real fillet. In the Covid time they checked the QR-codes. We were at 18:00 hrs just in time as later all the tables were booked.
Visited this restaurant many times and we are never disappointed Excellent food and wine and service Olivia has great personality and always remembers us year after year
Excellent restaurant friendly staff and great food always ,full so you will have to book especially Saturday,Sunday. We have no French but had no problem being understood
Very friendly greeting for Les Anglais in packed restaurant on both evenings we visited .You have to book to ensure a table as they were turning people away ,always a good sign as is the fact that there were obviosly a large number of local regulars .Food is typically Alsacian and well cooked and staff are great .Lots of competition in town but this place is one not to miss.
We chose this restaurant because it had outdoor seating which was under cover in case the rain came back. Not perhaps the most informed way of choosing, but we struck lucky. 'You must try tartes flambees' everyone had said, but we were a little reluctant as those we had seen in passing elsewhere looked as if they might be far too much for lunch. But we took the plunge here and were well rewarded. I chose the asparagus tarte, as the restaurant specialises in local asparagus when in season. I forget the name of my husband's choice - probably forestiere as it had mushrooms with ham and cheese. They arrived after a reassuringly long wait, crisp and hot. And so light! A pizza of that diameter would be much too much, but here the base made even the thinnest pizza look heavy. Absolutely delicious. We scoffed the lot!
