They are VERY vegetarian friendly and they have the best bulk section on this side of the island. They have all the spices too. And the people that work there are friendly, helpful, and relaxed. A local chef sells really good vegetarian meals to go there too.. Sometimes they have exotic fruits .... A very comfortable place.

This load is worth checking whether they are in the opposite. they have a small cooler area with some prefabricated sandwiches and a beautiful frozen section. a lot to search!

We visited Keaau Natural Foods based on reviews suggesting it had a delicate selection. Upon arrival, we found that the offerings were limited to a few prefabricated vegan sandwiches in the cooler. While the variety was small, the quality of the available products was exceptional. The staff was incredibly helpful and explained their commitment to sourcing only non-GMO, organic, and local items. Although we were looking for some bulk nut items that weren't in stock, we were pleased to purchase other high-quality ingredients for our meal. We particularly enjoyed the West Coast tofu available in the cooler, though I can't recall the name of the small business that makes it.

Great selection of options and friendly staff! I wish they had more sugar-free dishes, but they offer a lot of fresh food, and there's a large farmers' market next door where I can find organic and local products that I can't get at my favorite store in Hilo. Highly recommended! And a tip for the moms out there: they support a peaceful atmosphere, making it a lovely spot for relaxation and care.
