Joy's Table Pasta Steak - Kearney

Our server Denise was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure a Celiac meal was prepared safely. The cocktails were tasty with a fun presentation. Most of the food was great with the exception that the steak was way over salted. The restaurant made it right and gave us a discount. Judging by the quality of the rest of the food it was probably just a bad night.

My fam went here recently and had a wonderful time. The staff was amazing. Our 3 year old is celiac and they made every avenue to make sure he was safe. Our server, Denise K, was top knotch. Super sweet playful with our kid, that really set our experience up high.I rated the food with 4-stars because the steaks we got were super salty. The steak was actually really nice. I got the filet and that was so buttery soft. The rest of the food we got, including drinks were really good. They obviously pride themselves on presentation and the customer’s experience.The Manager did give us a discount for the over salted steaks, which we didn’t ask for. We did eat the steaks so I didn’t expect that. The best part of our visit was the server. The worst part was the food. It was massively over salted and you could tell the fries were not fresh. On top of that, the prices of their food were outrageous! If my daughter had not picked it for her birthday dinner, we would have left right after the food arrived. I do not recommend Joy's Table.

They had good music but it was too loud. The salmon was so salty you couldn't eat it. We couldn't visit because of the music. We never got our bread to go with all you could eat pasta. Then it was children eat free night and we were charged for it. When I asked the hostess why we got charged, she said if we wanted it, we had to ask for it. She was very rude. My waitress came up and apologized and took the charge off, apologizing the whole time. Then the hosted asked rather rudely if I was going to leave the tiptoe same. I said yes, the waitress was great. NOT THE HOSTESS!! There was another waiter who was very friendly and was trying to help the waitress out. Very nice wait staff!

This is a mixed review. We went to celebrate an aunts birthday. Wanting an upscale meal. The sea bass table side was well worth it but they up charged all the side not defined or disclosed. The Italian chicken fried steak was good but extremely salty. The steak was tough and not a lot of flavor. The steak au povio was very tough ad all gristle in edible. When we said something it was completely dismissed. No adjustments made. Very dissatisfied overall. Sad because it could have been a great meal.
