Way over priced for dry meat. Not worth the drive. Definitely not worth the money. You'll leave hungry.
Great atmosphere and lovely people! Food is super tastey and we felt like we were apart of the family being htere!
We came on a hot Saturday night. We were newbies, everyone else in the lineup was getting food to go. You choose from ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, side salads etc. No chicken. Everything is priced by weight. All prices are posted and the cash register shows you how much per container. The staff were super friendly and suggested as first timers we order the sampler meal 2 ribs, 1 sausage, pulled pork and brisket. We had been told to try the baked beans and they did not disappoint. We got samplers and 3 sides for 4 people and it was plenty. They also have desserts. Everything was delicious. We sat at a picnic table and ate out of the containers with plastic cutlery. They allow dogs to sit with you in the outdoor area. They have draft and bottled beer. Simple but tasty food.
Circumstances took us by this temple of 'cue two days in a row and we stopped for lunch on both days. Really, really good, as always. But I watched two separate couples look at the menu and leave. Yes, the menu is a bit unusual but don 't let that intimidate you. The people serving will make up as much or little as you want and there are always sandwiches if you aren 't too adventuresome. All the meats are outstanding. The beans are good, coleslaw meh but that 's the only quibble. Don 't miss out on the best food for miles. Get yourself there and see what I mean.
