Loksins - Keflavik Island

I was excited to try a Garún Nr. 19, as the Isavia.is website indicated it was available on tap and in bottles. However, I was disappointed to discover that both Loksi locations only offered generic lagers. They had one IPA, but nothing special or unique. If you're in search of a locally brewed beer with interesting flavors and higher alcohol content, your best bet is to pick up a six pack of Einstök from the duty free and enjoy it while waiting at your departure gate. The Úlfur IPA at Loksi in Terminal D is a decent choice, and the staff at the bar are friendly.

I'm a manager and owner of models and travel with a few for professional appearances. I and one young lady I represent had a stopover in the airport, we stopped to grab a sandwich and refreshment. As I went to get something from the counter and returned to the young lady I manager, she expressed the young man working there keep eying her. At this point it was just about time to get ready to board our flight, I went to the men's room and when I returned he, meaning the young man working there had been asking her for information about who and what she does, as well contact information. She expressed to me that he was making her very uncomfortable asking questions and talking out loud to her, so she was asked to come over so he didn't have to speak loud and wanted to discuss with her some information about her. A couple things to note here, one if you work at a establishment that services customers, you don't inquire about them especially young woman and ladies while the man she is with had went to the men's room. What was his intention, oh just fill in the blanks. I've been in the industry for over forty years and have always tried to express to my clients don't talk with strangers especially if they are asking for information about you. Unfortunately she's only twenty two and needs to understand the dangers of what happens when you are not aware of your surroundings and people like him. So please all pay attention to the questions you are asked and honestly the real reason for this type of action. Not a professional establishment when they have people like this working for them. Important note of interest. Respect others and don't inquire about their personal life and what they do. And definitely don't ask for personal information for contact reasons, not a respectful person, what's he up to?! Lesson to be learned, don't leave young woman alone! Business manager for over forty years and it just gets worse when there's people like this.

Transited through Keflavik airport both to and from Europe. I had been here before in 2017 and enjoyed the atmosphere. No different now. Draft options (my choice), sandwiches, lite snacks and quick and efficient service. My Borg Brugghús beer was excellent, cold and refreshing. Just what I needed.

This restaurant is a small bar that is popular among locals, offering a variety of local beers on tap and some great afternoon specials. English speaking staff make it easy to communicate and enjoy the experience.

Awful service ..me and my friend were at the airport on the 12th of December. We had a late flight we had a information that the bar should be open till 18:00. We came there little past 17:00 and bought a drink. Around 17:30 the bartender switch of the lights and I asked are you closing the bar he said yes ..I asked him should the bar not be open till 18:00.. he got angry and said that he was going to be at his home at 18:00 ..It is very poor service. The staff who work there should find someting else to do if they are not happy doing this job.
