Ashmount Country House - Keighley

Decided to treat ourselves for an anniversary, very welcoming on arrival, room exactly as described, very clean and tidy as expected, excellent facilities, very good dining experience with very good food, same at breakfast. All in all, I would recommend a stay here.

Dear Sirs, this was a very special occasion and we went based on your ratings, unfortunately we found it to be tired, poor quality and over priced, very disappointing. This review is based on a lot of experience eating out and a lot of cruising. We will not be going again and will be advising our friends and colleagues likewise.

My dining experience at the Ashmount Restaurant began with Afternoon Tea in the garden. Delicious, imaginitively prepared sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries made a complete and filling meal. Dinner was a delightful combination of fresh local produce and culinary ingenuity. The scallops are not to be missed, and the fish trio is superb. The Chablis served here is superior to many a Premier Cru I've enjoyed in France. Breakfast offers a wide variety of well-prepared dishes to suit any taste or appetite. All in all, the Ashmount is an excellent place to dine.

Beautifully furnished in amazing surrounding gardens Views to die for.. A must for chilled weekends. Everything you could possibly want was provided by the staff. Our next visit will be very soon. We stayed in the Dr Greenwood room and found the views from both windows incredible. The Moors were at their best, we had rain, hail and sunshine and all added to the atmosphere of the Bronte Area.
