San Marco - Kelkheim

Das San Marco war einmal sehr gut, aber das ist Geschichte! Nach der Neueröffnung ist der Service miserabel. Ich musste eine Ewigkeit warten, bis meine Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, obwohl kaum was los war. Noch viel länger musste ich auf die Rechnung warten. Die Qualität der Eisbecher und das Eis haben stark nachgelassen. Im Nussbecher waren kaum Nüsse, dafür wurde der Preis um satte 20 % erhöht. Für ein halbes Schnapsglas Eierlikör wurde ein Zuschlag von 2,20 € berechnet. Ich bin bereit, für gute Qualität und Service angemessen zu bezahlen, aber das hier ist reine Abzocke!

Sono stato a cena lunedì scorso con amici e sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto: ottimo il cibo, veramente italiano, con porzioni giuste e una certa creatività. Fantastico il gelato. Tornerò sicuramente a breve!I have been at dinner last Monday with friends and we all have been very satisfied: great food, really Italian, creative a right quantity. San Marco was always our favourite restaurant when we lived in Kelkheim a few years ago. We went back for a visit last weekend and found that the food is just as good (especially the spaghetti ice cream)! and the service just as friendly.The restaurant is owned and run by a husband and wife team who take pride in serving good quality fresh food - specials are based on what is good at the market and the ice cream is home made.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Before some weeks I met there with a well-known ice. the eiscafé was not too full tonight. there were five guests with us, all of whom were before them. so I was very amazed that the staff had to wait so long. I ordered an ice chocolate; my well-known ordered a large cola and a small vanilla ice cream. also our order had something to wait. when she was finally brought with her frust: I got a hot chocolate instead of my ordered ice chocolate. You could drink, but not what I wanted, and when I wanted to talk to the waiter, he suddenly disappeared.

Super service of excellent ice cream, there are also Italian gourmet menus here. There is an additional area for smokers. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. The best ice cream in Kelkheim!
