Feedback gevenFast forward to today: same employee, Josh. He greeted us with the same friendly demeanor, but this time he mentioned they were out of many items. He patiently went over what wasn’t available. I asked what happened, and he handled it very well. When I inquired about my options, he provided plenty that I could choose from, and we placed our order. However, when it came time for drinks, I found out they were also out of unsweetened tea. Poor guy! He mentioned he could whip up a batch pretty quickly, but I opted for water since I don’t drink sweetened soda. As he was making our sandwiches, the alarm went off. He managed it like a pro—no freakouts, just smooth handling of the situation as if nothing had interrupted him. Overall, this was my second experience with Josh running the Subway all by himself, and he handled everything incredibly well. That’s something you don’t see often in many fast food places where there isn’t much emphasis on personality. Josh deserves recognition for how he tackled the inventory shortages on popular sandwiches, like the lack of tomatoes and sauces, and the fact that he couldn’t accept cash! Talk about being a trooper! Well done, Josh! I haven’t visited Subway much in the past, but you’ve definitely put it back on my radar. I believe in rewarding stars based on effort and other factors, and Josh’s hard work ensured this store delivered a great experience today.
