Barbs Delights - Kelowna

We travel to Kelowna from Kamloops, BC twice a year and always make a point to stop at Barbs for some delicious breakfast or lunch. The food and service are top-notch and the atmosphere is beautiful, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friendly people.

My family bought 4 turkey dinner this year for Christmas! We were extremely disappointed about the amount of food.. 60$!!! I don't eat much and I would eat twice what she gave me for a person she also used beef engraving with turkey not really what...we wanted to be back..honestly what she gave us looks like scraps I would take home after I had my meal!

My husband and I went out for breakfast this morning (Friday). The restaurant was bustling with steady groups and couples coming in every few minutes. The server, who I believe is the owner, was very friendly and efficient as usual. We decided to order the mega breakfast special for $10.95 each, which came with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 ham, a small side of hashbrowns, and 2 pieces of toast. I requested my eggs sunny side up. However, due to the busy morning rush, the timing of the cook seemed a bit off as my hashbrowns were lukewarm and the toast was slightly overcooked. One of my eggs was also cool, with the yolk broken and mixed with the toast. The sausages were hot and well-prepared, but the bacon was too tough for my liking. I usually would have provided feedback to help the restaurant improve, but the server was too busy for me to speak with. This experience was not typical of my previous visits, as the staff is usually friendly, service is quick, and the food is generally good. Perhaps adding an extra cook during busy mornings would be beneficial.

The food at this restaurant is all homemade, and the owner Barb is dedicated to ensuring that you have everything you need, no matter what time of day it is. She is willing to come in early at 5 o'clock to make sure you have breakfast to go!

Nothing fancy for breakfast, but the 11 dollar breakfast special had two eggs two toast, two sausage, two ham, hasbrowns and coffee. Excellent price point, well prepared diner breakfast with about a 7 minute ticket time. Location is clean and staff were friendly. I will...return again.
