The vibe is friendly and the owner is so passionate about his food and ingredients. He told me that he personally plowed and planted acres of tomato's and other veg and herbs to use in his restaurants he feeds his guests like he feeds his family and i love that! I enjoyed a salad with falafel and although i found the falafel on the dry side with no dipping sauce to enough dressing to moisten them, i over all enjoyed the elements and diversity inside my salad. The Poutine that my friends and i shared was divine, the gravy was favorable and i wanted more. The other times i have eaten at MTL the smoked meat sandwiches were so packed that i could finish and had to take it home to snack on. value for money, healthy options and tasty and friendly Winner!

The food was wonderful probably the best eggs benny I've ever had and the service was very friendly.

We had a great time, with the live music and good deli food. The smoked meat was excellent, but the lack of a pickle seemed like an obvious oversight. In case you are going during a live entertainment evening, we would suggest going early to get a good seat as we reserved for 7:00 PM and ended up at the end of the serving bar by the kitchen.

I'm originally from Montreal, and this was a great taste of home. Excellent smoked meat, great for eat in or take out. I'm grateful to have this gem in my neck of the woods. I'm far from Montreal, but not far from Montreal food.
