Sofie's Asian Market & Bistro - Kelowna

It was pretty awesome coming here, it was an unexpected delightful surprise. We had been on the coach for about seven hours, our journey started in Vancouver. At this point we were tired and hungry, in the mood for quick good food, which we thought would be hard to find, however this restaurant is well located within the coach station. Sofie pretty much runs this whole thing, she takes the order, payment, cooks the food and normally delivers it to your table as well. She seems like a busy woman, however, being busy doesn't stop her from being friendly. She is awesome and polite. Makes sure that you get your food before your coach is about to set off. We had BLT toasted sandwiches which were so **** good! Freshly prepared, was perfect. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone as she has an amazing cheap restaurant! With anything you could fancy.

I have only been here once and ordered the eggs benny. While the hollandaise wasn't from scratch the portions were fair, the food was tasty, and it was prepared very well. They are open early around 6 am I believe and stay open late until 9 pm with breakfast all day. The breakfast menu is small but the pricing and service are fantastic as well as being an all day breakfast I believe. 8 dollars for eggs benny and that comes with hashbrowns and coffee. That is about 4 dollars less then the chains abc/ihop/perkins/denny's/ricky's, with extra coffee and better service. This is also family run which is a plus. The location is also extremely clean and well kept. Similar genre to Mcleans, Mad Mango, Casual Cravings, Barbs Delights, and Pepper Pot in Kelowna. I foresee them doing very well given some time and will definitely be back to try out some other menu items. 4 solid stars for a first visit.

Sofie's has excellent food and very very reasonable prices... Large portions and very tasty and hot. I've had both take out and and have eaten in and have found the restaurant to be exceptionally clean and the people friendly. I would highly recommend people to give this place a try... I little gem hidden in the greyhound.

I was picking up a parcel at Greyhound and discovered this Asian restaurant and decided to have lunch. Seemed like one guy took the orders, delivered the food and cleaned up but there were only a few diners so it worked fine. I asked for the chicken Laksa but could have chosen tofu or some other sort of meat I don't recall. The chicken was a bit odd looking so I did not eat it but there were plenty of vegetables and the flavor was good. If I was to go back I think I would try the tofu version. Also offers all day breakfast.
