This restaurant stands out from most places in Lake County, and that's definitely a positive aspect! The food is excellent, and the view is breathtaking. There are many healthy choices available that won't leave you feeling sluggish after a nice meal. I highly recommend giving the Soda Bay Restaurant a try if you're looking for a new regular spot.

On our second visit, we went specifically for breakfast, but again, the food failed to impress. My Eggs Benedict came with a soggy English muffin—did they steam it after toasting? The hollandaise sauce was separated, thin, and lacked the thick, creamy consistency you'd expect. The “awesome” home fries, as described by our waitress, consisted of undercooked baked potatoes tossed with onions and bell peppers. They were poorly seasoned and served cold. Our other dish, Carl's special, was forgettable. It's a shame that the food didn't meet expectations. I would recommend heading to the other side of the lake for breakfast at the Evening Rose in Nice, where you'll find better prices and delicious food.

I had a wonderful dinner here last night! The service was excellent, and our server, Jaii, was friendly and even provided us with directions back to San Jose that avoided the dreaded “Hopland Grade.” The salmon was delicious, and both the vegetables and mashed potatoes were fantastic. The Lake County wine list was impressive too. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning!

I’m here as I write this, still in my water shoes from my fishing trip, which definitely worked up my appetite. I just had the most delicious burger I've had in a long time—maybe even the best in my entire life! My friend also tried a burger, and he’s usually hard to please when it comes to food, but he loved it too. That really says something! It wasn’t just my hunger talking. Thanks for the excellent service, and once again, the food was amazing!
