The food and drink selection is excellent, and the atmosphere is quieter than other lounges. However, they could improve by adding more power outlets for charging phones and making the Wi-Fi credentials easier to access.
Atmosphere: The ambiance is average. Food: The meals are packed, making it convenient to enjoy them on the go if you're short on time. Other menu options are also decent. Service: The service is just average, and you'll need to check in for updates. There is a shower facility available, but the toiletries provided are subpar compared to those in other lounges at Johannesburg Airport.
If you arrive between shifts its not that welcoming. Around 15:30 in my case. Empty glasses and plates and bar area not inviting. However around 30 mins later looked more inviting. Its more prepackaged snacks. And 3 choices of hot meals.
The shower was clean and spacious. You need to ask reception for the key to use it. The lounge area is comfortable but nothing special. The buffet is ok. Everything is self-serve, including alcohol. They take cash too if you don't have the credit card.
