Stripers Waterside - KENNEBUNKPORT

I reserved a table for 2 on Sat June8 , confirmed the reservation via text as well. when we got to the restaurant a waiter informed me that there was a private party and the restaurant was closed to the public. I am not sure who is responsible on keeping Open table current as to when the restaurant is open or not- but that was a disgusting way to treat a new customer. It was disappointing arrival and would have never happened if I was properly informed. Shame on the restaurant.

Worst service ever. Stood at the host desk for nearly 10 minutes while people walked by and said they'd be with us shortly. After being seated, we were not approached for at least 15 minutes. I had to ask for things twice (condiments, drinks). It was an unfortunate experience because the water view is excellent and there was live music which did add to the ambience. Food was average at best.

Well this place must be wonderful in the summer, but for us it was not summer but still nice, great view of the water and sunset, service was pleasant, very nice bar area though small.....food selection interesting, great apps and generous too, burger was very good, burnt ends disappointing....lovely place.

Great view, would be delightful in warmer weather when you could sit outside, nice smallish bar with nice comfortable chairs, all the seats/table have window/water view, not much boating activity but the high tide certainly rushes in.

Lost our order never came to the table for 45 minutes. Blaming the reservation system we never got our entrees like the couple next to we left in disgust. No apologies no, just ignored us. Ruined my experience and our Valentine dinner.
