A historic coffee stand which still stands by the french quarter, amazing to see the quality being maintained, coffee with chicory was excellent, hot and the right amount of milk. The beignets were warm, fried and sugary deliciousness! Forget the calorie, the sugar and enjoy the experience. Definitely worth coming back to!
Great place no doubt about it. Please enjoy small clips/picture captured during our visit
First time in NOLA and of course everyone said we had to come here... definitely didn't disappoint! Other than a little too much sugar, at least for by liking, they were good. My sister had the decaf coffee and she's still talking about how good it was. I'm not a coffee lover so I can't really rate that!
One day when the pandemic is long behind us, I would love to revisit this place and get the proper experience. As it is now, it's a bit disorganized and a little chaotic. The long lines depends on what time you go, and seemingly the attitude of the woman at the window. The wait for the beignets is where things get crowded and disorganized. All that said, the coffee and beignets were great, though the paper bags don't help the powdered sugar stay on the donut. I could not argue with the price, especially considering all the other locations around in the city.
