Youngs Garden Chinese - Kenner

My experience with customer service was disappointing from the start when I went to pick up my to-go order. The staff was rude to me, and when I pointed this out, two employees began discussing something in another language. It's disrespectful to speak about someone right in front of them. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this kind of unwarranted attitude from the staff. Additionally, the quality of the food has declined significantly. Prices have increased, but the quality has not kept pace. The egg drop soup was bland, and the lo mein was mediocre at best. I will not be returning.

Broccoli in moo goo? No thank you. The service was poor. The fried rice only had six shrimp and they added double the white rice just to fill the plate, along with three snow peas. When I spoke to the server about it, she mentioned that the chef changed the recipe. As a chef myself, I know that you shouldn't alter the structure of a dish on a whim. The server was also on her phone during our visit. Overall, it was way overpriced, and I won’t be returning.

My friend and I walked in and were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady right away. We started with the house-made crab rangoon, which was incredibly rich and delicious. After that, we moved on to our main dishes, both opting for the combination plates. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff was very attentive. The only downside? I wish they served beer; nothing beats enjoying a Tsingtao with your meal. Nevertheless, I will definitely be returning!

The menu features fresh and delicious items in a charming atmosphere adorned with lovely nautical lanterns, a nice tribute to our close proximity to the Gulf. This Chinese restaurant offers top-notch quality and excellent service!

The food was outstanding, and the server was incredibly friendly! The prices and portion sizes were also very impressive. I saw some other reviews talking about long wait times for takeout, but we arrived for a dine-in meal at 4 PM and finished around 5:30 PM. During our visit, several people came in to pick up takeout, and it seemed like hardly anyone had to wait. A few customers did wait about five minutes, which I think is perfectly acceptable. I would definitely consider ordering takeout from here if I’m craving Chinese food!
