During my visit I was impressed by how well organized and guided the place was. The two young men worked friendly and attentive. The service was excellent and the pizza was perfect.
My husband and I bought a groupon to this place for pizza, so we thought why not? Let's try. When we went there, Lauren was the manager there who was so helpful, friendly, mature and professional for her age. Typically, children do not want to work today or they have settings. She was the opposite. What a breath of fresh air. The pizza is so good because you dictate your toppings and how much sauce you want, how much cheese you want, etc. Great casual place. Pizza lasted like 2 minutes to cook at 1000 degrees temperature. Absolutely back!!
We're new to the area and I tried many pizza places, especially oven. There is a method and a right way to do it to ensure a tasteful experience. This place burns the pizza, time. 1000 degrees is correct, the pizza comes out as if it was lawful on the fire, as it was mostly steamed. We have a cheese pizza, cheese sticks and Buffalo and Cramson heat? (like Thai chili/ sweet heat) wings. The pizza just burned. The whole edge was burned to a cripple, all black parts of the crust shredded into powder. Even at the lower edge, where it was not burned black, contained an acrid, bitter, carbon flavor, essentially ruined everything else. The cheese was nicely roasted, and the sauce was good, nothing special. We haven't eaten the pizza and we're going to have a family of 4 with two young children. The cheese sticks were the best part and the only reason I increased this rating over 1 star. They were not burned and the herbs and spices they use (I believe thyme and rosemary) were great. The Marinara is filled waste and tastes disgusting. The wings were meh. The chicken did not taste fresh, probably frozen or had been in a fridge for a while before it was used. Like the pizza, they were burned quite hard at some edges. The buffalo sauce is not spicy at all, but is a watery, vinegary type of sauce, so it had no depth of taste and slipped off the burnt wings. My wife is an avid Buffalo Sauce wing fan and stopped her after 2. The Crimean heat was much better in taste and quite sharp compared so we all ate these. That was pretty good. Overall, we will not come back and probably never go back to another 1000 degrees.
Service was great! The young lady that was there really took care of us. But when she asked what kind of sauce we wanted and gave us the option of mac and cheese , I was appauled. I mean c 'mon, mac and cheese on pizza?? Where I come from which is NYC, if you ask for mac and cheese on your pizza, you would most likely get thrown out of the joint. But all in all, it was a nice experience!
