The portions are generous, making the price seem more reasonable for the quantity of food you receive.

Firstly, we had planned a date night but upon entering the restaurant, we realized it was extremely hot inside and decided not to dine in. It seemed like there was no AC unit in place. Secondly, we noticed an employee sleeping at one of the booths and the cashier was on the phone and did not acknowledge our presence for a few minutes. Lastly, when we reached home and opened our food containers, we discovered that our order was wrong and we had received someone else's order. I had to drive back to the restaurant to get our correct order, and once again, the cashier was on the phone and did not notice me walking in.

I initially thought the restaurant was pricey when I paid for my family of four, but after receiving our food, I understood why. The portion sizes were huge - even the small portion was larger than what most places serve as a large! The oxtail was delicious and the jerk chicken was exceptional. It was evident that the food was made with love. If I could, I would give this restaurant 10 stars!

Delicious! I got take out of the stew chicken and sides of rice and peas and fried plantains. I was blown away at the proportion I received — this was only $10!! Everything was delicious. I love spicy food, but opted for the stew chicken (not spicy) instead of the jerk chicken as I was craving something with more sauce and wanted something different. The meat was so tender, it fell off the bone with just a slight stab of my fork. The rice and peas were also delicious — not overly coconut in flavor, which is what I prefer. The plantains were also yummy, soft, and sweet. Overall, I would definitely order again!

I am very picky about my Jamaican food, but this right here!!! Tastes like one of my Aunties was in the kitchen. Fresh food, fairly fast service (given they do cook certain things to order) and great portion sizes. I think I just found my new go-to Jamaican restaurant.
