Feedback gevenThe food is much better and the portions are larger compared to similar places like Panera Bread. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich, and it was delicious!
Upon entering, the service staff promptly guided us to our seats. One of the employees was attentive and helpful. The food was satisfactory overall, but the avocados were quite unripe and very firm.
Most recently, my wife received a Southern chicken salad that had far less chicken salad than usual. When I raised this concern, a person who identified himself as the floor manager approached our table. Instead of addressing the issue, he started to argue with me, claiming that I had a history of issues with the food. He accused me of not ordering extra dressing, which I have consistently done since they began charging for it, and also falsely claimed that I often left half my food uneaten and sent it back. When my wife called the restaurant to let them know we wouldn't be returning, the manager insinuated that the problem was "just with me." While the food itself is fantastic, this last experience has been the final straw. The management really needs to address these issues with their staff.
I have never left a negative assessment to a business, but unfortunately this will be my first. we have been at this place for 2 1 2 years almost 3 years. in the course of the years we loved eating, and the staff was incredibly gracious and friendly. we had several incidents where we had asked for “no tomatoes”, “no onions” etc., and had to send them back because it ended either on the order or something that should be on it was missing. my family and I have a long history of being in different customer service positions, so we understand that dinge happen. not complaining, we understand. but we expect it to be done right when we get paid for it. we are not looking for a free meal. only that it is done right and we have always asked without being an idiot. Yesterday something did not look quite right with the pizza of my man, and the chicken salad floated in mayo. again, not something we are getting angry about, but we have brought it to their attention. our server has accused us of eating half our food and complaining. what was not true and we are not going to do that either when we call the load after leaving to get in touch with a manager about our experience to find out that our server was the manager. who was incredibly rude, and if we let her know quietly that we would not eat there anymore, the answer was: “Well, that’s good!” it was one of those moments where it was so crazy that we could not believe it actually happened. we have registered.
I received a coupon for 5 off a 25 purchase at Newk's. When my wife and I went to the restaurant to use the coupon, we were told that this store did not accept that coupon. I don't tolerate this type of deceitful business practices where they lure you to their business with a promise of 5 off and then they don't honor their promise. I will never eat at Newk's again due to their dishonest practices.Update: Your response asked me to visit feedback.newks.com and complete the survey. I tried that and when I got to the end and I hit submit nothing happened. Not sure if they received my survey.
