KFC - Kenora

This restaurant in Chatham is a hidden gem! I was driving by and noticed the sign, so I immediately turned around and stopped in. I ordered the halibut and chips, and the halibut was incredible.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic - all homemade and cooked fresh to order. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming.

The line was out the door waited 1/2 hour to get served the fries were cold... the ice tea was out and I mentioned it to the staff she just nodded and said ok didn't even fix it. They got all the orders mixed up well the 3 before mine and the 2 after mine: the debit machine wasent working on front counter staff were not kind. Restaurant was dirt not clean like it use to be. Don't recommend going there

We experienced a lengthy wait in line and found the staff to be inefficient and unfriendly. They had to come out and read the menu board to determine what was included in a kids meal, and we had to remind them about drink cups and sauce for the chicken. The staff seemed preoccupied with talking to each other in the back. Overall, the food did not live up to the wait or the poor customer service we received.

30 minute wait for food, 10 second wait for money back, so I guess it was good service? Apparently customer service is the same all over Kenora as people just say "What you would expect in Kenora". Glad I don't have to go to Kenora more than once every few years.
