Ono should be called Oh No Stopped in for a snack...Friendly staff/service. Kitchen needs to work on the food. Had a smoked crunch roll and baked mussels. Rolls are quite small with minimal filling. Pretty much a mouth full of rice, cant taste anything else. Baked mussels need to be chopped up and mixed with the mayo before baking, not chopped in two and mayo put on top. Really half assed. Also the rice noodles that were on the mussels dish had a nice dead bug in them, that my wife pointed out after i ate the mussels. Gross. I get this location isn 't exactly beachside but shouldn 't cut corners on quality and double check the plates before they go out guys. I showed the bar tender the bug, Andrew i think his name was, but he couldve cared less. Young kid... Anyhow i paid our bill and left to go get dinner. I also woke up with diarrhea this morning but i cant pin that on this place since the family and i ate lasagna for dinner, but none of them had this issue. I was the only one to eat at OH NO before dinner. Hmmm
O no! Not going there again! Everything , from the cheap decor to the quality of the food is a poor attempt at upscale sushi dining . Having read the reviews it leaves me wondering if any of those compared this to true upscale dining not found in Kenosha. $52 for edemame, one roll and 1 poke that was 2 spoonfuls and inedible is leaves much to be desired. Even the service wasn 't great and it has nothing to do with covid. Our server literally waited at our table until I pulled out my card rather than giving me time to do so like most restaurants do.
Ono has some of the best sushi in town, the inside is super classy, the outdoor seating is also very nice on a warm evening. The price is awesome for what you get. Stop in and give it a try or call in your order for pickup.
Delicious quick sushi spot along the downtown strip! Not a lot of extravagant options for sushi but I got a salmon crunch roll with eel sauce and it was yummy! The egg rolls are crunchy with a great sauce. Only comes with two, though, so prepare for that lolThe staff was very attentive and did a great job with clearing our table water refills. We sat down quickly left within 30 mins. It was a great spot!
