The Garage - Kenosha

We in the Midwest have a special love for our burgers. Beef, cheese, and all the fixings come together in a way that we fiercely defend. It's something that the coasts just don't understand.

We decided to stop for lunch on a Tuesday after discovering this cool little place on Yelp with great reviews and photos. It's situated right on the corner of a busy road. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

All burgers at this restaurant are filled with toppings, but the only issue is that they don't seem to grill the burger long enough for the cheese or meat inside to melt.

That was my second visit, but both were also read. This trip I have The Garbage Truck, and it was the best burger I ever had in Kenosha. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Hopefully they will resign sooner than later from recent events!

I can't wait to return to this restaurant. The baked cucumbers were a unique and delicious twist on the typical dough dish. The Pepper Jack Squares and Jalapeno Bites were just okay, but the fried ravioli was pretty good. The burger was one of the best I've ever had. The Whitewall Hula option was excellent, with a flavorful patty filled and cooked perfectly, and all the toppings worked well together. I appreciated being able to customize my order to keep things organized. The service was great and everything arrived promptly at the table.
