This quaint little square is perfect for enjoying afternoon tea outside. Each bite of the afternoon tea is delicious and the price is very reasonable compared to similar places in London.
We were fortunate enough to enjoy a beautiful summer day in London, and Gallery Mess offered a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was friendly, albeit a bit slow, likely due to the high volume of customers on a busy Saturday afternoon. The food was well-prepared and delicious. I opted for the fish and chips with mushy peas. Normally, I'm not a fan of mushy peas due to their texture and sweetness, but these were surprisingly tasty. They were not overly mushy, with just a hint of mint, salt, pepper, and lemon. The fish was crispy and the chips were also delicious. Additionally, the superfood salad at Gallery Mess was a visually appealing option. Overall, a great dining experience.
Delicious food for a light lunch. I love to sit in the summer doors and it is beautiful and completely away from the main road. good wine selection
I had a great Sunday lunch here with friends and my child. Making a reservation through the website was easy, including requesting a high chair. The menu isn't extensive but there's something for everyone, from fish to pork belly to veggie pasta. They also serve breakfast throughout the day. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was nice. We paid £140 for 4 adults and one baby, including a bottle of red wine.
