I visited a café in a prime location, near the subway. Despite being in an upscale area, the prices were reasonable. I went with my grandmother and expected it to be expensive. Even though I was dressed casually in jeans and a t-shirt, not typical of the clientele in posh cafes, the staff welcomed me warmly and were very attentive. I ordered a cappuccino for just over £3 and the cake of the day for £8. The cake was a simple sponge with fresh fruit, cream, and what appeared to be marzipan. The coffee and cake were delicious, although I was unsure if it was worth the £8. The café was beautifully decorated and although it was on the pricey side, the lovely atmosphere and excellent service made it worth it. The service was also very efficient.
I have tried a lot of seafood dishes in the past few years, but none compare to the amazing seafood risotto I had at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and professional, and the prices are reasonable considering the upscale location. It was a bit challenging to locate the restaurant, as it is hidden beneath a boutique, but I am glad I found it and will definitely return when I am in the area. (Some of the staff speak Hungarian).
The risotto and dessert were delicious. The ketchup and mayo tasted off, possibly bad quality or expired. However, overall the risotto was good. This restaurant is known for their risotto, especially popular among Arab diners.
