The staff were friendly and despite not having a book (definitely need a booking for evening! we were seated immediately (but given a time that we would need to be finished 2 hours was plenty of time! We had the Arabic coffee and chai, both of which were lovely and hot. We also had the fruit (watermelon and pineapple and baklawa which were beautifully presented. At no point were we hurried or ignored in fact, the opposite. We found the staff extremely attentive and will definitely be going back. However, I was more than a little disappointed with the toilets, which were, quite possibly, the worst I've ever been in!
Great ambience really liked the restaurants set up. OK SO I was very happy, the French toast connoisseur gives you your flowers. I have tried both French toasts, the Biscoff was a lot to handle but my French toast teammate told me it was amazing at first but he couldn’t finish it. I had mine and felt exactly the same. scrambled eggs I’ve had a better. Desserts were great.
Food was amazing with a massive portion, shared a desert spent just around £20 toilets not so clean
At arrival I waited a while for someone to notice I was waiting to be seated. Our plates were served cold, no staff came to check if we needed anything and if the food was ok. No salt or pepper offered or on the table. The poached eggs were undercooked, I decided to eat the first poached egg because it was somewhat edible and I didn 't want to come across as rude, but the egg was not great. However when I started to cut into the second poached egg, it was very undercooked and I could not eat it, the egg white was raw inside, clear and runny. After breaking into the second poached egg, my plate started to smell like raw eggs, this made me feel sick so I told the staff about this and also showed the staff the egg white which was clearly undercooked and runny, the staff was unhelpful and said 'that is how it should be ' I then asked if he would eat this to which he responded 'no '. He then took the plate back to the chef, the chef responded by saying that 's how the eggs should be. This is disgusting because I was expected to believe the egg white which was clear, runny and clearly raw inside was edible. The chips tasted like they had been sat there for a while and reheated, they didn 't taste fresh nor were they warm, I also did not eat this and sent this back. Overall poor quality of food and poor quality of service. I have paid similar or less money for excellent food and service in London before. I won 't be coming back or recommending. No care for customer experience. Prices are unjustifiable.
I went to this restaurant with a friend for brunch after seeing a lot of hype about it on Instagram. The place is really beautiful, but unfortunately, the service was very bad. It took them almost an hour just to take our order. The food was decent, but overall, I would not go back again.
