The Elephant Castle Pub

I have made two visits this month. The first was good, we booked a table and the sandwiches were decent. A bit on the pricier side, but I get we are in Kensington. It’s a very small place so recommend booking. The second visit we did not book and two people hogged two tables just for a drink (despite being there together talking) and we wanted food, and they refused to move. I would suggest staff need to keep an eye on this sort of thing as it’s such a small place they need feet through the door and losing customers because of a few rude people isn’t great for them. I appreciate the risks of not booking but there was space, sad we couldn’t use it! Not marking down because of this but worth noting as booking is essential if visiting in your lunch hour.

I was fortunate to stumble upon a charming pub with a fantastic variety of beers and excellent food. The service was top-notch as well. It's uncommon to find hidden gems like this in today's London. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

While in Kensington, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Of course, I couldn't resist having my usual pint of London Pride while in town. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
