Although I don't go as often now, the prices are still reasonable, and the food quality remains excellent. I recently noticed some signs addressing concerns about food waste, and I'm sure that has led to some negative reviews. I wanted to contribute a positive one because we truly love this place, and the service is fantastic! My favorites are the crispy chicken and the chicken with mushrooms!
The food was decent and reasonably priced. However, I found the comments quite intriguing. If you can cook better, why not just eat at home? Some people receive negative reviews for not tipping, while others face criticism for the quality of their food. Isn’t it a bit shameful? I must say, I feel quite disappointed. Is there really so much negativity in America? If you didn't enjoy your experience, there's no need to stir up trouble. You don't have to announce that you won't be returning; no one will be bothered by it. Let's not behave immaturely.
We had randomly tried this place after we found the place we wanted to go to, closed and I'm so glad we landed at Evergreen. It could be my new favorite buffet, the food is so good and they have a great variety, the staff is so beautiful and attentive, great first experience. The interior is a little dated, but don't let you frighten the food is great and it's clean just dated.
By far, my favorite Chinese buffet. There are so many options to choose from and they are all equally delicious. They have the best egg drop soup, sushi and sweet and sour chicken. The staff is very friendly and always talking to my daughter when we come in. They are very family-friendly. I never have to ask for a booster seat they're already bringing to our table. I wish they were still offering crab legs, but I understand that things are now hard to get and very expensive. I think for what you don't eat is a very good idea. People waste so much food on buffets should they have to pay to have a whole dish of food they have only taken 2 bites away. We'll be back soon! Again visited 4/29, as always fresh and delicious food, friendly waitress and the staff is always very friendly. The banana pudding was a pleasant surprise.
The only downside to our visit was seeing some employees wearing masks. It left me wondering if the owner mandated this, or if the choice was voluntary. There was even a little girl wearing a mask, which made me feel sad for everyone involved. We enjoy seeing smiles, and since we don’t dine out often, it's important for us to see people's faces. I've always been opposed to wearing masks and chose not to wear one, as I believe viruses can enter the body in many ways. I’m hopeful that on our next visit, we will be able to see the staff's beautiful faces, as smiling is a natural way to promote health and happiness. We did have one server who was not wearing a mask, which was a nice change. Thank you for the fantastic food and service. We look forward to coming back!
