The dough is soft and lovely, with a great hint of spice. Everything is delicious. I highly recommend buying their recipe book, it has yet to disappoint me.
My friends love here the zimtbälle! personally, when I had it before I went raw vegan I remember that they were good, very unique, but did not define the level they put on. but not, it is a charming bakery and I love to bring the guests here when they visit and they are always impressed, even though I do not connect myself to the veneration of sweets.
"This coffee shop and bakery, located behind Piccadilly Circus, is excellent. I have visited many times and the baked goods are always top-notch. The cinnamon rolls, baked cakes, and blueberry scones are especially delicious. They have recently started serving coffee from the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, which is some of the best in London."
Eier and hering sandwich is simple and tasty. Cinnamon-Backs are beautiful and not overly sweet in contrast to the American type cinnamon-backs. also enjoyed the Karelian pee with eierbutter, although I wish it could be served warm.
This bakery does not offer hot food, which is a disappointment for those who enjoy freshly baked bread straight out of the oven. They do not have ovens and do not serve hot food at all. The cold rye sandwich with cheese and pickles was okay, and the cappuccino was average. The price of £7 for a coffee and a small sandwich was a bit high considering the quality and size of the items. The service was fine, as was the location of the cafe, with plenty of Nordic minimalism and natural light. This cafe is adequate for a light meal and coffee if you happen to be in Golden Square, but it's not worth seeking out specifically.
