Submarine House Kettering

The tea was weak, and the sub was too hot to eat. When I asked about it, they informed me it was due to the sauce. The other food was good, and we had a nice time overall. I requested coffee since the tea was unsatisfactory, but they didn’t have any available. We arrived at 8 PM, and the kitchen closed at 8:15 PM, so we felt rushed to finish our meal so they could leave for the night.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were very attentive. However, the noise level was quite overwhelming; we had to nearly shout across the table to hear one another. Aside from that, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely return.

I had never tried the pizza before, but we ordered a deluxe, and it was fantastic!

We went during the soft opening. Service was friendly and expedient. The building has been redesigned, the interior is all wood and the exterior has wrought iron tables and chairs and a fireplace, perfect for the warm nights ahead. There is a bar side and a restaurant side, although the volume is fairly consistent throughout. The apps were fresh and hot. The onion rings were some of the best we've ever had. There was a slight lull between apps and entrees but they were busy so it was understandable. We also had to have our subs remade but, we're still able to be seated, order, served apps and entrees, eat and be ready to go, all in under 90min, which was great! Our little one had chicken tenders, fries, and a brownie while we both went for cheesesteaks. We're not drinkers but the folks around us had great looking beers and cocktails. It's definitely one of their better establishments. And, as at all their bars, they offer food specials at night.

Restaurant great location . Good entrance. Good parking. Food Good. Pricy for the qty served
