I Live in the Village where Coffee at number 9 is located, and my wife and I often pop in for coffee or go for some breakfast. You are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, and the staff make you feel relaxed from the moment you walk in. The big breakfast cooked up by Luke is fantastic, and in my opinion is an award winning breakfast. Very, very good quality food cooked how you like it. After I’ve eaten the big breakfast, I don’t need to eat for the rest of the day. It really sets you up for the day! The coffees they serve are great, and really hit the spot, and their cakes and treats are delicious. I would recommend Coffee at number 9 to anyone looking to fill their belly, or who are looking to have a nice cuppa or a Brew.
Thank you Luke for a lovely time. My disabled friend and I arrived not too long before closing but were made to feel welcome and served efficiently. Very warm and cosy, a great independent cafe perfect for friends to catch up. Good value for money, lovely coffee.
We visited the cafe this afternoon on a chance visit. I was impressed with the wide range of hot and cold sandwiches, breakfast, brunch, lunch, homemade cakes! The coffees and hot chocolates with different flavours looked great. Staff were friendly and the place felt clean.
Having time to spare, I needed lunch and tried here. The setting is lovely, the staff very helpful. The menu is large but not confusing and reasonably priced. I had a delicious hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Along with a sausage baguette which was served with a small salad and crisps. The sausage was hot and delicious with no hint of grease and filling. All in all a great experience, to be repeated for sure.
