Dante's - Key West

I really enjoyed Dante's! My food was good, the Tuna appetizer! As 48 years old..didn not quite fit with the 20 something is in the pool. Great place to dance drunken people in the pool too much loud music.... it's like an eternal spring break out there. Fun place when you are in the mood to party.

All I can say is, you have to try the calamari! The white sauce that comes with it is absolutely fantastic! Be sure to double the white and red sauce. Just order it! It's so delicate and packed with flavor. I’d rate the oysters an 8 out of 10—they were quite good! The service was a bit slow, though, and the restaurant wasn't very busy.

This is an excellent spot to both see and be seen, and the food is delicious as well!

Great lunch! Order the She Crab Soup. Nachos were unbelievable there was so much cheese and chicken they were covering up part of it with the mounds oh japalenos, tomatoes and lettuce. The salads were amazing too. The stuffed tomato was exceptional. They have a big pool for restaurant and bar guests so wear your swimsuit on a hot day.

The good: hard to beat happy hour prices. 2 bars! Nice location. Age of crowd and music skews a bit younger than other places. The meh: food is slightly above average. The bad: non happy hour food is expensive and not really worth it. Overall: come here for great non watered down cheap drinks during happy hour and socializing.
