We had a very nice waitress who was very accommodating. She comped the chicken and waffle sandwich it was pretty gross. Unless you like hard, tasteless waffles with chive whipped cream??? Then don't get it.
This is my favorite spot in Colorado to enjoy a mountain meal after a morning of skiing. We’ve dined here several times and have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the food is outstanding. If you're skiing at Keystone, I highly recommend making a stop at Alpenglow Stube for a meal.
We had an outstanding dinner! Upon being seated, we were treated to complimentary berry cream tart and bacon jam bruschetta before our main courses. We ordered the wedge salad, lamb tikka masala, and the pork stable, all of which were absolutely delicious. The gondola ride up was breathtaking, and they even provided blankets for warmth. The service was excellent, but they didn’t offer us the slippers that were available on previous visits, and unfortunately, they had run out of hand warmers for the ride down. Expect to spend around $30-40 per guest, and around $15-20 for each cocktail or glass of wine. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, perfect for a special date or celebration.
The staff was amazing! We attended a stunning wedding reception at this venue and were truly impressed by both the staff and the food. It was the best beef tenderloin I've had in years. The bar was well-prepared and ready to craft any cocktail as long as they had the ingredients. The view was absolutely breathtaking. As we left, they provided blankets to keep us warm from the unexpected chill brought on by a summer snowstorm. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience.
Pricey but expected as you're dining on a mountain peak that takes two different gondolas to get to. We shared the Calamari and Pork Belly appetizers. Both very tasty, although the portions could have been a little larger. For entrees I had the Pork Chop, it was excellent. The wife had the lamb, she said it was wonderful. The special dessert was chocolate mousse, very tasty. They must schedule reservations in a way as to not fill the restaurant more than 1/2 to 2/3 full. It was nice to not be packed in. Even if they filled to 100% it wouldn't feel packed in as the tables are spaced appropriately.
