Chess Cafe - Kigali

It took a LONG time (1 hour to be ready for our eating. the smoothie was made with unripe fruits and the suppe was quite tasteless. a beautiful setting with board games though!

I stumbled on this place from the sign outside with “vegan” on what was a surprise. I had a great latte and talked to the staff about their vegan options. really cool caffe. I wish I had found it before my last day.

The best bread I found in Kigali. It is perfect soup and sandwich bread, soft and yeasty, with a perfectly gentle tempered crust. The place is not yet perfect, but three young Rawandan owners are diligent and conscientious owners. Your product is, I would call it a high quality drink and food, in a good and perfectly pleasant café. I will visit them every time I'm Kigali and can't expect them to grow, expand and perfect their business. ALSO! If you like chess or other board games and lack an opponent, the personnel owners are ready to play a competition game with you. Thank you. Eric for a great game.

A really sweet café with excellent coffee. If you are looking for great lattes and cappuccinos, this place is for you! You also have actually chessboards so you can play while you wait!

Very nice café and nice service, a little slow, but worth waiting. Very recommend all juices and smoothies, they are delicious! We went there almost every day during our stay in Kigali and managed to develop a smoothie and chess in a few days.
