One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Kihei. Affordable ala carte tacos (Blackened Seared Ahi is amazing). Full bar, TVs, not a good spot for American football. Authentic food, hidden gem. Tasty sauce/salsa/queso options.Vegetarian options: My friend had Veggies Tacos, said they are great.Dietary restrictions: Many dishes are on/with corn tortillas (gluten free), no nuts customizeable plates.Parking: Shared lot with the plaza, never been an issue. Smaller restaurant, so never too many cars.Kid-friendliness: Kid menuWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, handicapped parking right in front of the door.
I used to love the breakfasts from here. But they have really lowered their standards. The bananas on the banana macnut pancakes were literally decomposing, rotting banana slices. Paid extra then had to pick them all off. Pancakes were dry almost an inch thick! No bueno..
Good service, good food, easy environment. Easy parking and good access to the restaurant.
Would say the food was pretty good here, nothing that blew me away. The only thing I wasn't too pleased with for certain was paying $7 for salsa and chips, and I can tell it was from a salsa can at a grocery store. A huge rip off if you ask me. I need to start asking places if they homemake salsa or pop it out of a can.
