Refused entry due to our party having young children . Restaurant completely empty , extremely rude manager and staff . Avoid .

We have always come with family and friends to this Italian over the years, we love the owner and the waitress up front, it really is the restaurant for locals and they always have great clientele. Perfect location for a romantic meal or older family members get together. (No kids menu very traditional Italian) Food is 5*, traditional Italian that’s reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Romana Pizza and the homemade daily, Tirmasu. Bottle of house wine always under €25 for the bottle. Empty plates and glasses every time!

We were looking for a nice place fir dinner and was lucky to find this restaurant. Everything was really really tasty, we had a great time!

This is best Italian I’ve ever been to in Ireland, true authentic Italian chef who has been cooking Italian cuisine for 60 years and moved to Ireland with his Irish wife, can’t get any better

Never got to visit because of our experience booking a table. Called to book for 5pm but was advised they would not be ready, despite the website stating they open at 5pm. When a later time was agreed (5.15pm) we were advised that they do not take orders for shared pizza, and that we were being told this because we sounded very young. We were asked what age we are which is none of their business. After this back and forth we decided to cancel our attempted booking. The food could well be great, but the service is polar opposite.
