Lanigans - Kilkenny

We were very happy here for lunch. Both the fish chips and the pizza were very deliciously well prepared. The service was very nice, the ambience great the toilet clean. Also good... from us a clear recommendation!

Stayed here on a hen weekend, the apartment was spotless and central location. Ariff was an excellent host, I couldn't recommend the place enough. Had breakfast both mornings and was reasonably priced and delicious

It was alright. My Irish coffee was tasty and my friends enjoyed their food, I didn 't eat, as I wasn 't allowed to order from the kids menu. Which I thought was strange. As they did not offer an adult version of what I wanted. I found the staff to be unfriendly. Which I found uncharacteristic, given how hospitable the Irish have been.

Great music, good food, nice service, room I can't judge

I found the service was great. The door staff especially Sarah were very vigilant and we as a group of 8 women felt safe and comfortable in the pub/ club The rooms on the other hand , while they appeared clean and spacious enough .. it was not advertised as a hostel accommodation. At 90 euro a head it would have been nice to have a coffee and tea facility for the morning .. even a machine at reception would have been nice. We stayed in room 5 and the manager was helpful when the heating turned off , fixed it straight away .. but the room was soo cold all night. With only 1 rad to heat a huge room .. and drafty windows .. great location but the manager walked in without knocking to give a warning re music being played . . It wasn't even 6 in the evening and people could have been dressing
