What 's to like more? The food? The decor? The Presidential atmosphere? If you step inside for the first time, be ready for a multi-dimensional experience. Each room seems its own venue. So much to see and appreciate. Our party of three all chose thesame entree last evening, salmon with roasted vegetables and a choice of potato styles. The waiter said the salmon is the mostpopular entree on the dinner menu. As for the wine menu, they feature selection 's from Trump 's winery in Virginia.

Our room was spacious, quiet, had everything we needed for comfort, and allowed our small dog. We liked the Keurig in the room?great?and a nice little front porch. Breakfast was generous and included. Service was wonderful. Everyone was so niceRather a lot of ?decor,? but it is an historic inn. Tip: there?s a park off the back parking lot that?s good for dog walks, andLee?s Diner around the corner is simple, affordable, and good for dinner.

What a shady! as owner of a bed and breakfast itself, I know and appreciate a well-run facility and I can tell them that they are not disappointed with this. the buildings, the garden and the grounds are beautiful and full of unique art structures, historical factoids and offer a peaceful environment. the suits are located in separate adjacent buildings (behind the main building), which are built and decorated in the style of historic colonial plantation houses. I have booked the pet-friendly room unknowingly and was shocked when I found it out (at the cashier), as there were no signs for a pet history. everything was immaculately cleaned and well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and there were many pleasant things (coffee machines, mini fridge, bathrobes, etc.) the breakfast menu was world class and the owners and their staff were friendly and courteous.' make them please and spend the extra few dollars on this place the free/included breakfast is more than it is worth and they will not be disappointed.

My fiancé and I stayed here this past weekend. It was a fabulous place to be service was wonderful, room was clean and comfortable and the food was so yummy! The location was perfect to downtown and every serve/innkeeper was fabulous. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The staff and Innkeeper of Kilmarnock Inn were most excellent in the planning and executing a very successful surprise birthday party for my husband. Forty eight guests attended of which 30 out-of- towners stayed at the Inn. All 30 guests enjoyed their stay and felt very pampered. It was a very memorable event for my husband and for my whole family. Everything was perfect from the cocktails, appetizers, dinner, wine, dessert, after dinner drinks and the dancing! Shawn and staff really made every effort to offer a stellar service. Very grateful!
