Rowallan Castle Glasshouse - Kilmarnock

I took my mother and my 6-year-old son out for lunch, and they both loved it. The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely meal at Rowallan when our parents met for the first time. We are getting married in the New Castle next year and it was great to be back at the venue. The food and drinks at the glasshouse were lovely. There unfortunately was a power cut the evening we were there but the staff were as accommodating as possible and kept us informed every step of the way. We had a lovely time and are looking forward to many more trips in the run up to our wedding!

Our dining experience was on the whole very good. Steaks were delicious, but would have been nice to have a few vegetables, e.g. mushrooms? Sticky Toffee Pudding was a wee bit dry. There's a lovely ambience and the views from the windows add to the relaxing atmosphere. Serving staff were friendly and courteous and very attentive. We've been to The Glasshouse quite a few times and would highly recommend it to those looking for a delicious meal served in comfortable and very attractive surroundings.
