The Longhouse - Kilmarnock

Had a great meal. great service .really nice place.

6 of us went for a family dinner on Saturday afternoon. When we arrived the restaurant was busy with a nice buzz. Our table was ready and our orders were taken and served very quickly. The dining room was quite warm so we asked if we could have aircon turned up. This was done quickly the place soon cooled down. Our waitress and I believe the shift manager were brilliant and the food was fab also. Great value and brilliant service all round. Our new favourite.

A lovely dining environment, not too packed, varied lovely food and very reasonably priced. Professional and friendly staff who look like they're enjoying every minute of their work. Kilmarnock can be proud of this high end but reasonably priced establishment. A great dining experience. And they can cook a steak as the customer requests.

We recently had a celebration diner at The Long House Kilmarnock. We managed to get an early booking and was surprised that it was quite at this time though it got busier later on. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown a rear table. The menu had plenty of choice and it had Halal food. The dishes that we ordered were varied but we all enjoyed what was served up to us. The only two faults that I would mention are that we were not asked if our meal was all right till we had finished it and also one of the large leaves of cabbage was well past its serving date. Would I go back ? Yes.

Just want to say Thank you to The Longhouse for a wonderful birthday dinner on Saturday night 25th. June. Upstairs. The room was beautiful. Food amazing and the two young waiters catered to all our needs. Friendly, professional , nothing was too much trouble. Much appreciated. Thank you X
